We pair each client with a designated personal assistant who provides tailored support with life admin, home organization, and companionship—taking the stress out of daily tasks so you can focus on what matters most. Our mission is simple: to bring ease, connection, and confidence to everyday living.
Hello, I’m Krista Peterson—a wife, mother to two young boys, resident of Seal Beach, and the founder of Home Roots Support. After more than a decade working as an Executive Assistant for a global management consultancy in London, my family and I returned home to Southern California. During that transition, I realized how much I wanted to use my organizational skills and people-focused experience to make a meaningful, local impact in my own community.
Home Roots was created from that desire—to offer thoughtful, practical support that empowers older adults to thrive in their homes with a trusted assistant by their side. Everyone, especially older adults, could benefit from the kind of thoughtful, practical support that executive assistants excel at—help with life admin, organizing the home, staying on top of daily tasks, or simply having a reliable person to lean on.
And so, Home Roots Support was born—a community-minded service offering personalized assistance that takes the stress out of managing everyday life. My goal is to help older adults feel more supported, more organized, and more at ease in their homes, while fostering meaningful relationships rooted in trust, care, and respect.
